Followed back to back 30 day systems for the first 5 months and worked out 4 days per week; 4 days of lifting and 2 days of cardio. In July my workouts increased to 6 days per week; 5 days of lifting, 5 days of cardio (2 days of Steady State cardio, 3 days of Interval training cardio), and one functional day (plyometric exercises and bodyweight exercises).
Food intake increased with the increase in exercise. 6 meals per day 2-3 of which were shakes, the others were clean, whole food. No carbs after meal 4 (around 4:30pm). Evening meals were lean protein and veggies. One "off plan" meal per week. I was pretty religious with following the routine closely and getting in enough sleep.
As competition got closer, they changed up my food each week and it would be different for each person so I don't feel like I want to post details about that. If anyone is interested in prepping for something like that, they will want to do it under the guidance of a professional coach. I competed at 134 pounds for a total loss of 50 pounds. On my journey, I went from a size 14 to a size 6 but the most important transformation was mentally and emotionally. I'm definitely a better mom and wife now after I started taking better care of myself.
Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support. The fact that so many of you are saying that my transformation was inspirational is such a blessing and makes me feel so good. Anyone can do this, you just have to make the choice to do so and stick with it. Everyday is not perfect but I have more good days than the others and constantly strive to get better everyday! Many blessings to you and yours!
We would like to share with you ways to
make your own transformation a reality.
